Roster of Post 1 Commanders

A different Legionnaire has served as commander each year of the post’s existence. One Legionnaire has served twice, but not in consecutive years.  All Past Commanders are listed by the year they completed their service as Commander.

A Legion emblem has been placed on the picture of each Past Commander who has passed away.

Past Commanders through 1946 and the end of World War II are all, of course, World War I veterans, all of whom have passed away.

We have had 30 World War I era Commanders, 30 World War II era Commanders, 11 Korea era Commanders (one who served twice), 27 Vietnam era Commanders (one served in both Korea and Vietnam, and one who served twice), 2 Persian Gulf era Commanders, 1 War On Terror Commander (one who served three back-to-back), and one who served in Desert Storm – Desert Shield. We have had 105 Commanders, with 2 of our 105 Commanders have served two terms, and 1 having served three terms. Our first Commander A.A. Jones only served part of 1919.
